“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.”
Dining with Dignity
On the 4th Saturday of each month, Crosswater feeds the homeless in downtown St. Augustine. We normally end up feeding between 80-100 people coming from some of the most difficult circumstances. If you have a heart for service and would like to get involved, please contact Kiley Cramer at firstname.lastname@example.org
World Relief stands with the vulnerable, partnering with local churches to end the cycle of suffering, transforming lives and building sustainable communities. Starting this year, Crosswater will be partnering with World Relief to love and care for the displaced and marginalized.
The Jail Ministry from Crosswater regularly leads Bible studies and other faith based activities at the St. John’s County Jail in St. Augustine in both the women’s and men’s centers. Currently, we lead studies in the men’s units from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the first Sunday of the month and the women’s units meet on the second Wednesday of each month from 9:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. We are always looking for more people to help lead studies, counsel inmates, pray or just go as support. It is truly a powerful opportunity to share the Word of God with people that need to be reminded of God’s amazing grace and transformative power. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Pastor Todd Kornahrens and he will get you the appropriate forms that need to be filled out. Contact Pastor Todd at email@example.com.
