Josh Harvill

Lead Pastor

Pastor Josh is fully committed to empowering families and people to find their purpose in Christ. Through his love for Jesus and the Bible, Pastor Josh leads others with humility and kindness. He shares Biblical truth through practical illustrations and caring relationships.

Pastor Josh joined the Crosswater family in the Fall of 2019 as the Children’s Pastor. Since then, he has served the church and community in multiple capacities. In December of 2023, the congregation elected Pastor Josh to serve as the Lead Pastor.

Josh accepted Christ as his Savior at a young age and grew up in a loving, Christ-centered household in Athens, Georgia. He was called to ministry at the age of 18 and enrolled in seminary. He began his pastoral career at age 20 and has served in various ministry roles in churches ever since.
Pastor Josh met his wife Mary in college and were soon married in October of 2008. The Lord led them to adopt Hannah as a baby in 2012. Twelve months later their first son Kirk was born. The baby of the family, Rowe, was born in 2018. The Harvills love to spend time together as a family at the beach, fishing, playing card games, and of course cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs!

Meet the team.
