Crosswater offers many different opportunities throughout the year to support overseas missions and missionaries.  We understand that not everyone can go on mission trips each year, but we want to give our people the chance to partner with our mission partners to bring the Good News of Christ to the world.  Below are some of our annual giving opportunities.

Sponsor a malnourished Haitian child through Children’s Health Ministry.

Sponsor a child to help that child and their community break free from the cycle of poverty.

Every October – November, Crosswater participates in Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry.  People fill boxes with toys, clothes, and non-perishable food items. Samaritan’s Purse will then distribute those boxes, along with the Gospel message, to children throughout this world.  For more information on OCC Shoebox Ministry check out our website in October and November or visit Samaritan’s Purse.

Children’s Health Ministry Collections – Crosswater also collects items annually for the Children’s Health Ministry clinic in Haiti.  Baby formula, bottles, blankets and more are collected periodically throughout the year.  Please continue to check the website or announcements for the time of our next collection.

Community of Faith Church in Roatan offers Awana to help bring the children of their community to faith in Christ.  Many of the children in La Colonia do not have adequate access to education or food, but Awana can teach them about the Gospel, give them a safe place to learn and share a meal with them.  Community of Faith Church has approximately 120 students coming to Awana each week.  The approximated cost for books, shirts, and supplies at La Colonia’s Awana is about $20 per child for the year. If you would like to support a child, simply click here (http://www.livingwater4roatan.org/how-you-can-help/donate/#) and check the $20 donation box and make a note that it is for Community of Faith’s Awana program.

Reverse Mission Trip – Every summer since 2016, Crosswater has partnered with the Greatest Exchange to bring girls attending college from Kazakhstan to Ponte Vedra to work as Children’s Ministry summer staff.  Working with Crosswater allows the girls to be immersed in a Christian community, as well as earn money to support their families and pay for college.  Crosswater’s family can support the reverse mission trip by donating financially to cover the cost or by hosting one of the girls in their house for six weeks during the summer.
