MISSION STATEMENT
Helping Hands seeks to serve others by providing handyman type tasks for those in need. Projects include landscaping, painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, general clean up, and much more in the Jacksonville/Saint Augustine area.
“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” Hebrews 6:10
HISTORY
The Helping Hands Ministry was founded by Crosswater Community Church in 2019 to serve the Jacksonville/Saint Augustine area. The ministry is led by Audie Dennis with a team of volunteers.
Helping Hands have completed these projects:
- Pressure washing a widow’s home
- Landscaping and general clean up for a church member diagnosed with cancer
- Building a wheel chair ramp
- Repairing/painting of a home that had water damage for a single mom
- Repairing sprinklers for a widow
- Pressure washing and general clean up of a facility that assists autistic children
- Painting the youth meeting areas
- Building a desk for the children’s church check-in area
- Assisted a widow with a backyard fence that collapsed
